Industries

The district Rajnandgaon is categorised as "B" (backward) in  industry.The Madhya Pradesh government offers the following facilities for setting up new   industrial units  in the district

  • State capital investment subsidy at the rate of 10% is available to the eligible small scale industries setup outside the radius of  8 kms of municipal area.
  • Sales tax exemption for six years to the eligible industrial units
  • Entry tax exemption for 5 years to the eligible industrial units
  • Project reimbursement of 1% of the total cost of the project report

The government industrial estate of small scale industries is set up at Rajnandgaon and Dongargarh(a teshsil headquarter).The industry belt of the district is situated from Somani to Anjora on national highway - 6 towards Durg(around 10 kms from Rajnandgaon).
